Hydrogel is indicated in:
- bed sores wounds with cavities
- leg ulcers and diabetic foot
- skin graft sites.
The gel is applied to the wound and covered with an occlusive secondary sterile dressing. The high viscosity of the gel prevents expansion outside of the wound or cavity, and the high water content provides a calming and refreshing effect for greater patient comfort
