Farmactive silver alginate is a unique combination of silver and alginate anti-microbial dressing. It contains high levels of mannuronic acid, carboxymethylcellulose and ionic silver.
The complex (silver carbonate) releases silver ions when in contact with wound exudate.
Indications: infected wounds or those with a high risk of infection; in addition, it promotes the creation of an ideal environment for the healing of exudative lesions.
